The Marcellus Shale, the largest natural gas find in the United States, is bringing new life to communities across Pennsylvania, New York, and other mid-Atlantic states, where many brownfield sites remain undeveloped and growth has been stagnant for decades.  With the increased Marcellus Shale activities, an unprecedented use of the existing infrastructure has been experienced.  This panel examines key development issues, outlines the current regulatory landscape, and identifies present hurdles and opportunities the Marcellus Shale brings to the mid-Atlantic states.
